Krone's foliage-gleaner

Phylloscartes kronei

Krone's foliage-gleaner (Phylloscartes kronei) is a small passerine bird found in the Atlantic Forest of Brazil. It has a distinctive olive-green plumage with a yellowish belly and a short, slightly curved bill. This species is known for its active foraging behavior, often hopping and flitting through the dense undergrowth in search of insects and small invertebrates. It typically nests in the understory, constructing cup-shaped nests from plant fibers and spider silk. Due to habitat loss and fragmentation, the Krone's foliage-gleaner is considered vulnerable to extinction.
