Zosterops kulambangrae

The Kulambangra White-eye (Zosterops kulambangrae) is a small passerine bird found in the Solomon Islands. It has a distinctive white eye-ring, olive-green upperparts, and yellow underparts. This species is known for its melodious and varied song, often heard in the forest canopy. The Kulambangra White-eye forages for insects and nectar in the forest, and it plays a vital role in pollination and seed dispersal. Its population is currently stable, but habitat loss and invasive species pose potential threats to its future.
