La Sagra's Flycatcher, Myiarchus sagrae, is a passerine of the Tyrannidae family that breeds in the Bahamas and Cuba. It is also recorded from Grand Cayman, and has turned up as a stray in Florida and Alabama. The species was first described by Gundlach in 1852. It is a resident bird of tropical and lower subtropical habitats, including pine woodland, evergreen forest, mixed forest, mangroves and scrub. The sexes look alike. The nominate form has a smoky olive-brown crown with a flat look, an ashy face, and a tail marked with rufous on most feathers.
