Lanceolated Warbler

Plectorhyncha lanceolata

The Lanceolated Warbler is a small, insectivorous bird found in the dense undergrowth of forests and scrublands in parts of Asia. It is known for its distinctive lanceolate-shaped streaks on its back and its olive-green plumage. This warbler is a skilled forager, often seen hopping through the underbrush in search of insects and small invertebrates. Its song is a series of high-pitched, rapid notes that can be heard during the breeding season. The Lanceolated Warbler is considered a species of least concern, with stable populations across its range.
