Curruca layardi (Hartlaub, 1862)
Layard's Warbler, Curruca layardi, is a passerine in the Sylviidae family that occurs in Lesotho, Namibia and South Africa. It is a bird of south-western Africa, and its breeding range lies there. The species is associated with subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, which is its natural habitat. Also known as Layard's tit-babbler, it was described by Hartlaub in 1862.
