Lazuli Kingfisher, Todiramphus lazuli, is a bird of Seram, Ambon and Haruku in the south-western Moluccas. It belongs to the kingfisher family and was described by Temminck in 1830. Its pale blue underside sets it apart from other kingfishers in this restricted island range. It occurs in lowland wooded places, including mangroves, plantations and cultivated ground. The species is also noted for its noisy voice, with repeated ker-chick phrases and ki-ki-ki-ki calls.
