Leaden Flycatcher, Myiagra rubecula, is a passerine of the Monarchidae family that breeds in southern and south-eastern New Guinea and northern and eastern Australia. It was first described by Latham in 1801. The male is glossy azure with white underparts, while the female has a lead-grey head, back and mantle, with a rufous throat and breast. It occurs in mangrove forest in the north of its range, and in eucalypt woodland farther south and inland. The bird is also known from eastern and northern Australia, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.
