Conopias cinchoneti (Tschudi, 1844)

Lemon-browed Flycatcher, Conopias cinchoneti, is a tyrant flycatcher of South America, breeding from western Venezuela through Colombia and Ecuador to Peru. It lives in semi-open country, including forest gaps, larger openings with tall trees, and cloudforest margins. Its range is patchy, and the northern form occurs in the Serranía del Perijá, the Venezuelan Andes, much of the Colombian Andes, and far northern Ecuador. The nominate form is found along the eastern Andean slope through Ecuador and into northern and central Peru. It is a resident that also wanders somewhat.
