The Lemon-rumped Warbler (Phylloscopus trivirgatus) is a small, insectivorous bird found in the forests and woodlands of East Asia. It is characterized by its olive-green upperparts, yellow underparts, and a distinctive lemon-yellow rump. This warbler is known for its high-pitched, melodious song that echoes through the dense foliage. It forages actively in the canopy, flitting from branch to branch in search of insects and larvae. The Lemon-rumped Warbler is a migratory species, breeding in the northern regions and wintering in the southern parts of its range. Despite facing habitat loss and fragmentation, it is currently considered to be of Least Concern by the IUCN.
