Lettered Aracari

The Lettered Aracari is a medium-sized toucan found in the tropical forests of South America. It has a distinctive appearance with a black head, bright yellow and red markings on its bill, and a black body with bold white and red patterns on the underparts. This species is known for its unique vocalizations and its habit of feeding on a variety of fruits, insects, and small vertebrates. Lettered Aracaris are social birds, often seen in small groups or family units. They play an important role in seed dispersal and maintaining the health of the forest ecosystem.
