Lita Woodpecker, Piculus litae, is a woodpecker of the family Picidae that breeds in western Colombia and north-west Ecuador. It was first described by Rothschild in 1901. In Colombia it occurs in the middle Magdalena River Valley and on the Pacific slope of the western Andes, extending south to Pichincha Province in Ecuador. It lives in humid and wet primary forest, including edges and interior, and also uses secondary forest. It is a resident bird. The species is monotypic.
