Little Corella, Cacatua sanguinea, is a cockatoo of southern New Guinea and Australia, where it breeds across Australasia except the south-west and south-central parts of Australia. First described by Gould in 1843, it is a white bird with a short bill and bare eye area, and it is also known by several other names. It is smaller than the long-billed corella and the western corella, and the upper and lower mandibles are alike in length. It lacks the orange throat band shown by the long-billed corella.
