Little Crow

Corvus bennetti

The Little Crow (Corvus bennetti) is a small to medium-sized bird species found in Australia. It is known for its glossy black plumage, distinctive cawing calls, and highly adaptable nature. Little Crows are often found in urban areas, farmlands, woodlands, and open country, where they forage for a variety of food including insects, fruits, and carrion. They are social birds, often seen in large flocks, and are known for their intelligence and problem-solving abilities. Despite being common and adaptable, they face threats from habitat loss and urbanization. Conservation efforts are important to ensure the long-term survival of this species.
