Little Cuckoo, Coccycua minuta, is a cuckoo of Middle America and South America, with breeding records from Panama to north-eastern Brazil and northern Bolivia. It belongs to the family Cuculidae and was described by Vieillot in 1817. The bird was once placed in Piaya, but is now treated in Coccycua. Its closest living relatives are species usually assigned to Coccyzus or Micrococcyx rather than the rest of Piaya.
