Little Greenbul
Eurillas virens
The Little Greenbul (Eurillas virens) is a small, insect-eating bird found in the forests and woodlands of sub-Saharan Africa. It has a distinctive olive-green plumage with a yellowish underbelly and a small, pointed bill. These birds are often found in the middle and upper levels of the forest canopy, where they forage for insects and small fruits. They have a melodious and varied song, often heard during the breeding season. Little Greenbuls are generally non-migratory and form small family groups. They are known for their agile and acrobatic flight patterns as they move through the dense vegetation.
