Little Grey Greenbul

Eurillas gracilis (Cabanis, 1880)

Pycnonotidae — Bulbuls

Little Grey Greenbul, Eurillas gracilis, is a passerine in the bulbul family that breeds in western and central Africa. It lives across the African tropical rainforest and uses subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest as well as subtropical or tropical swamp. First described by Cabanis in 1880, it was once placed in Andropadus and later moved to Eurillas in 2010. Some authorities also place it in Pycnonotus. It is also known as the grey greenbul and the little grey bulbul. Three subspecies are recognised, and Ansorge's greenbul has sometimes been treated as one.
