Little Lorikeet, Parvipsitta pusilla, is a parrot of eastern and southern Australia, breeding from se Cape York Peninsula and north-eastern Queensland to western Victoria. It is a small member of the Psittaculidae and is known for its green plumage and red face. The crown, lores and throat are red, with bronze on the nape and shoulder, while the rest of the body is green. It lives in forest and woodland, including eucalyptus-dominated habitats, and is found where flowering or fruiting plants are present.
