Little Paradise Kingfisher, Tanysiptera hydrocharis, is a bird of the Aru Islands and southern New Guinea in Australasia, belonging to the kingfisher family. It is a smaller relative of the common paradise kingfisher. The juvenile has grey-brown upperparts with buff underparts, and its tail is short and blue. Described by Gray, GR in 1858, it is part of the order Coraciiformes.
