Little Pied Cormorant

The Little Pied Cormorant is a small, black and white seabird found in Australia, New Guinea, and nearby islands. It has a slender body, a long neck, and a hooked bill. This species is often found in freshwater and coastal habitats, such as lakes, rivers, and estuaries. Little Pied Cormorants are skilled divers and feed on fish and aquatic invertebrates. They build their nests in trees near water and often nest in colonies. The conservation status of the Little Pied Cormorant is currently listed as Least Concern by the IUCN.
