Little Sparrowhawk, Tachyspiza minulla, is a bird of prey that breeds in southern, south-central and eastern Africa. It is a woodland species, found in patches of scrub and trees, often beside river valleys, and in drier country it also uses open fynbos, grassland and suburban gardens. It is notable for being very small, with two white marks on the underside of the central tail feathers and a narrow white area on the lower rump. The species was described by Daudin in 1800 and is placed in the family Accipitridae.
