Long-billed Crow

The Long-billed Crow (Corvus validus) is a medium-sized bird found in the forests and woodlands of New Guinea. It is known for its distinctive long, curved bill and glossy black plumage. These intelligent birds are highly adaptable and can be found in a variety of habitats, from lowland rainforests to montane forests. Long-billed crows are opportunistic feeders, consuming a wide range of food including fruits, insects, small vertebrates, and carrion. The conservation status of the Long-billed Crow is currently listed as Least Concern by the IUCN.
