Long-tailed Cinclodes, Cinclodes pabsti, is a bird of south-eastern Brazil in the ovenbird family Furnariidae. It was described by Sick in 1969 and is endemic to Brazil. In its main range it lives in open country, including grassland, pasture and farmland, often close to water and on rocky ground or near buildings. A second form is known from a small area of Serra do Espinhaço in Minas Gerais. The species is a resident all year and is noted for its long, straight bill and for nesting in rock crevices, tunnels in rocky banks, and occasionally house holes.
