Long-tailed Myna, Mino kreffti, is a starling found in the Bismarck Archipelago and the Solomon Islands. It breeds in Australasia and is part of the family Sturnidae. It is closely related to the yellow-faced myna, and the two were once treated as the same species. Its name honours Gerard Krefft, an Australian zoologist and palaeontologist. It nests in tree cavities, often in palms, and lays pale blue eggs marked with fine reddish or grey patterning. It lives in lowland forests and plantations, usually alone or in pairs.
