Longuemare's Sunangel, Heliangelus clarisse, is a hummingbird of eastern Colombia and western Venezuela, with its breeding range also reaching north-western Venezuela and the Colombia-Venezuela border. It belongs to the family Trochilidae and was described by Longuemare in 1841. The species is found in the Eastern Andes, the Sierra de Perijá and the Tamá region. It lives along the edges of humid cloudforest and elfin forest, and also in more open country such as fields, woodland, ravines and páramo. Three subspecies are recognised.
