Louisiade Monarch, Symposiachrus melanopterus, is a bird of the monarch family that breeds in the Louisiade Archipelago and the eastern D’Entrecasteaux Islands, east of south-eastern New Guinea. It was first described by Gray in 1858. The species was once placed in Monarcha melanoptera and later treated as a subspecies of the spectacled monarch. It belongs to Passeriformes and Monarchidae.
