Luzon Bleeding-heart, Gallicolumba luzonica, is a ground dove of the Luzon group in the Philippines. It belongs to the pigeon and dove family and was described by Scopoli in 1786. It is the bleeding-heart in which the red marking is most strongly developed, with the colour spreading on to the belly and giving the impression of a blood stain. It is also known as punalada. Philippine law makes it illegal to hunt, capture or keep this bird.
