Luzon Scops Owl, Otus longicornis, is an owl of montane Luzon in northern Philippines, where it lives in the Oriental Region. It is a highland bird of rainforest, montane forest and tropical pine forest, usually from 350 to 1,800 m and sometimes higher. It is a small scops owl with long ear tufts, bright yellow eyes and a small, slender bill. Its plumage is dark brown and rufous, marked with horizontal dark barring and white speckling on the breast, collar and face, which gives the impression of pale eyebrows.
