Lyall's Wren, Traversia lyalli, is a passerine in the New Zealand wrens, breeding on Stephens Island between New Zealand’s North and South islands. It was described by Rothschild in 1894 and is now extinct. By the time it was first recorded by scientists, it survived only on Stephens Island, although it had once occurred across New Zealand. It belongs to the family Acanthisittidae and is also known as the Stephens Island wren or Stephens Island rockwren.
