Cisticola distinctus Lynes, 1930
Lynes's Cisticola, Cisticola distinctus, is a passerine in the Cisticolidae family that breeds in Uganda and Kenya. It is associated with subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland. The bird is named for Hubert Lynes, the amateur ornithologist Rear Admiral Lynes. It has also been treated as part of the wailing cisticola, Cisticola lais. Described by Lynes in 1930, it belongs to the cisticolas and their allies.
