Nesillas typica
The Madagascar Brush Warbler (Nesillas typica) is a small, insectivorous bird endemic to the dense undergrowth of the eastern rainforests of Madagascar. This warbler is characterized by its olive-brown upperparts, creamy underparts, and a distinct white eye-ring. It has a slender, slightly down-curved bill, which it uses to forage for insects and small invertebrates in the dense vegetation. The species is known for its distinctive and melodious song, which is often heard in the early morning and late afternoon. Due to habitat loss and fragmentation, the Madagascar Brush Warbler is considered vulnerable to extinction.
