Madagascar Jacana, Actophilornis albinucha, is a bird of inland Madagascar in the jacana family. It is found only on Madagascar and uses different places on the island in the wet season and the dry season. It is not especially wary of people. Female birds are much larger than males. It is also thought to keep away from the common moorhen.
