Madagascar Martin, Riparia cowani, is a passerine in the swallow family Hirundinidae and occurs in montane Madagascar. It was described by Sharpe in 1882. The bird was once treated as part of the brown-throated martin, Riparia paludicola, but is now recognised as a separate species. It is one of the martins placed in Riparia, and no subspecies are recognised. Its name honours the collector of the original specimens from south-east Madagascar.
