Malaita Cicadabird, Edolisoma tricolor, is a passerine in the cuckooshrike family and breeds on Malaita in the Solomon Islands. It was first described by Mayr in 1931 from birds collected on that island. It is now treated as a full species, having once been placed as a subspecies of the Solomons cicadabird. Its recognition at species level rests on molecular work published in 2018, together with differences in plumage and vocalisation.
