Malayan Whistling Thrush, Myophonus robinsoni, is a bird of the Malay Peninsula and breeds in western Malaysia. It was first described by Ogilvie-Grant in 1905. It is a member of the Muscicapidae family and is confined to montane forest, where it is usually found close to streams. In central peninsular Malaysia it occurs at about 750–1,750 m, with confirmed records since 1980 only from Fraser’s Hill. Its range has long been linked with the Cameron Highlands and the Genting Highlands.
