Malia grata Schlegel, 1880

Malia grata is a passerine of montane Sulawesi in Australasia, where it is confined to forested uplands on the island. It is the only species in its genus and has been placed in Locustellidae, the grassbirds and allies. The bird is known from a medium-sized, babbler-like form with olive-green plumage, a yellowish head and chest, and a pinkish-brown bill. Young birds are duller than adults. It is usually seen in pairs or in small parties of three to seven, and its diet is mainly insects, beetles and other arthropods.
