Maranon Tyrannulet, Nesotriccus maranonicus, is a passerine of the tyrant flycatcher family that breeds in north-central Peru, in the Marañón Valley of western Amazonas, eastern Cajamarca and eastern La Libertad. It is a bird of arid scrub and woodland. The sexes look alike. Adults show a brownish grey head with a faint whitish eyebrow, brownish grey upperparts and tail, and dusky wings with buff-tipped coverts that form two wing bars. The throat, breast and flanks are greyish, and the belly is yellowish. It was described by Zimmer in 1941.
