Marsh Antwren, Formicivora acutirostris, is a passerine antbird found in south-eastern Brazil. It is tied to marshy country, especially coastal and riverine marshes, and also occurs in flooded plains and the zone between mangroves and drier ground. It keeps to thick vegetation that is under 1 m high. The nominate form is mainly in coastal Paraná and far north-eastern Santa Catarina, with a local extension into north-eastern Rio Grande do Sul. Another form occurs at fewer than 20 sites in São Paulo state, in the upper Tietê and Paraíba do Sul basins.
