Marsh Tapaculo, Scytalopus iraiensis, is a passerine of southern Brazil in the tapaculo family. It was described in 1998 by Bornschein, Reinert and Pichorim. It lives in seasonally flooded grassland on river floodplains, especially in dense stands of sedges and grasses. Its range is in south Brazil, and it is endemic to Brazil. The bird is small and compact, with broad tail-feathers. Its plumage is plain blackish above and dark grey below, with brown barring on the flanks in young birds. The bill is dark and the legs are reddish-brown.
