Phylloscopidae — Leaf Warblers

Martens's Warbler, Phylloscopus omeiensis, is a leaf warbler that breeds in central China and winters in northern south-east Asia. It was described in 1999 by Martens, Eck, Päckert and Sun. The species was first placed in Seicercus, but later merged into Phylloscopus after a 2018 molecular study showed that the two former genera did not each form a natural group. It is also known as Omei warbler or Emei Shan warbler.
