Martinique Oriole, Icterus bonana, is a passerine confined to Martinique in the French West Indies. It is found in dry forest, moist lowland forest, mangrove forest and plantations, and now occurs mainly in mangroves and dry forest. Among the orioles of the Lesser Antilles, it has the most striking plumage pattern. The bird is mostly black with a reddish-orange belly, and the male is a little brighter than the female. It is also known for harsh scolding calls and whistles.
