Masked Mountain Tanager, Tephrophilus wetmorei, is a passerine in the tanager family, found in the high Andes of Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. It was described by Moore in 1934 and is the only species in Tephrophilus. It lives in mossy forests, moist dwarf forests, grass, bamboo and mossy scrub at 2,900 to 3,650 m. The species is associated with the Andean highlands and is recorded from southern Colombia to northern Peru.
