Mayr's Honeyeater, Ptiloprora mayri, is a passerine in the honeyeater family and occurs in montane north-central coastal New Guinea. It was described by Hartert, EJO, 1930. Its breeding range is in Australasia. The bird is associated with subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. After no confirmed records from 2008 to 2023, a scientific expedition in the Cyclops Mountains of New Guinea obtained images of a pair in June and July 2023.
