Mionectes macconnelli (Chubb, C, 1919)
McConnell's Flycatcher, Mionectes macconnelli, is a tyrant flycatcher of humid lowland and foothill forest in eastern South America, with a breeding range in eastern Venezuela, the Guianas, northern and central Brazil, northeastern Bolivia and Peru. It is a disjunct bird of terra firme forest, and also uses várzea, secondary growth and plantations. The sexes look alike. The nominate form and M. m. peruanus are recognised, with a third form, amazonas, treated differently in some lists. It was first named in 1919 and is now placed in Mionectes.
