Melodious Warbler, Hippolais polyglotta, is a passerine of the Acrocephalidae family that breeds in south-west Europe and north-west Africa and spends the non-breeding season in west Africa. It is associated with bushy woodland, forest edges, thickets, riverside growth, orchards and gardens. The species nests in trees or bushes, where three to five eggs are laid. It is a migratory bird with a range that reaches from the Iberian Peninsula east to Germany and Italy, and in North Africa it occurs in Western Sahara, Mauritania, Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia.
