Mewing Kingfisher, Todiramphus ruficollaris, is a kingfisher of the family Alcedinidae that lives on Mangaia in the Cook Islands, in the Pacific Ocean. It was described by Holyoak in 1974. It is confined to this single island and uses moist lowland forest and plantations. The bird is also known locally as tanga'eo. It has a blue-green forehead and crown, turquoise ear-coverts, orange-buff on the head and upper back, deep turquoise upperparts, a blue tail, white underparts with orange-buff on the upper chest, and a mostly black bill, iris and legs.
