Micronesian Myzomela, Myzomela rubratra, is a honeyeater that breeds in the Mariana and Caroline Islands of Micronesia in the Pacific Ocean. It is a small bird, and the bill curves downwards in both sexes and at every age. Young birds have a brown bill with a yellow base, which becomes darker as they mature until it is entirely black in adults. The sexes differ in size and appearance, with the male larger than the female. The species was first described by Lesson in 1827 and belongs to the family Meliphagidae.
