These starlings are highly social and often form large flocks, frequently congregating in urban areas and agricultural lands. Their diet consists of fruits, insects, and nectar. The Micronesian Starling plays a significant role in the dispersal of seeds in the ecosystems it inhabits. Due to habitat destruction and invasive species, the population of the Micronesian Starling is declining, and it is classified as Vulnerable by the IUCN.
