Micronesian Starling, Aplonis opaca, is a starling of the Mariana and Caroline Islands in western and central Micronesia. It is the only native frugivore on Guam. The species occurs in subtropical or tropical dry forest and in subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest. It breeds throughout the year, and both adults look after the young. It nests in cavities and shows strong aggression when protecting the nest, especially when the nestlings are older.
