Mindanao Brown Dove, Phapitreron brunneiceps, is a pigeon in the Columbidae family that breeds in the southern Philippines, on Mindanao and Basilan. It is a forest bird, recorded from tropical moist montane forest on Mindanao and from humid interior and dense secondary forest. The species is recognised by its brown crown, vinous-grey belly, buff undertail-coverts and less olive back, with a glossy reddish-violet patch on the sides of the neck. It also has a black bill, dark pink feet, an orange-red iris and a narrow dark line below the eye.
