Mindanao Island Thrush, Turdus nigrorum, is a passerine thrush of montane forest in the western and southern Philippines, breeding on Negros and Mindanao in the Oriental Region. It was first described by Ogilvie-Grant in 1896. This bird is part of the Turdidae family and was once included within the Island Thrush complex before that group was divided. It is tied to tropical moist mountain forest and forest edges, and on Negros it is recorded from 1,500 to 1,800 metres, while on Mindanao it occurs above 1,500 metres.
